If your current location is still lacking in job opportunities, try moving to one of these top cities. According to a recent article in Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine, these five cities are the best places to relocate for job opportunities:

Austin, Texas

Austin has made the top of many "best economy" lists including this one. Cities were ranked based on unemployment, potential income growth, the cost of living, and population growth. The city has a booming technology sectors and a climate that is supportive of young business professionals. Austin embraces entrepreneurship, and that helps young businesses flourish. Both Dell and Whole Foods had their beginnings in Austin, Texas. Besides the financial gains, residents can enjoy beautiful parks, lakes, and live music.

Washington DC

The Federal Government is the nation's largest employer, and they have recently started rehiring. Scoring a job with the federal government is a great gig, with great pay and benefits.
